Chief Administrative Officer
Janet Turner has over 20 years of finance, banking, and organizational experience, with over five years in energy and clean energy infrastructure. At Acadia, Janet leads the business operations teams, focusing on organization, operations, legal, and compliance. Prior to joining Acadia in 2023, Janet worked alongside Tim Short in his previous positions and also founded and managed a college consulting and test prep business. She also spent 6 years as the Executive Director of a K-12 education foundation.
Prior to a career gap, Janet was the Assistant Treasurer for Park Place Entertainment, managing the term-out of $3 billion in debt after Hilton Hotels split its gaming and hotels units and financing the $3 billion acquisition of Caesars Entertainment. Janet also worked for Bank of America in Los Angeles for 7 years, serving as the financial advisor for a portfolio of large corporate clients on the West Coast.
Janet earned her bachelor's degree in finance from the University of South Alabama and her MBA with a concentration in finance from The University of Texas at Austin. She also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
